Mauve is a nail lounge a short walk from the hotels of downtown Bethesda: private suites, nine technicians and times held early and late for anyone passing through. We are booking new guests now.

A standing visit, every month

For guests who want the same technician and a time that is already theirs. The membership's price shows on the booking page.

    A standing visit every month, with your own technician and a time held for you before the calendar opens.

    • One manicure or pedicure every month
    • Your own technician, booked by name

    • A skipped month carries over for 60 days

    Sooah opened Mauve to give downtown Bethesda a nail lounge that keeps its time. She does Mauve manicures and brides' trials, and trains every technician. Sooah speaks Korean and English.

    Mijung looks after the pedicure row and does the longest foot services. Guests who come back every month often ask for her. Mijung speaks Korean and English.

    Rahel does builder-gel overlays and soft-gel extensions, and likes a long conversation about shape before the first coat. Rahel speaks Amharic and English.

Questions

What guests ask first

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, when a suite is open. Booking holds your time, and it is the better choice before a flight, a dinner or an event. Call the desk if you're nearby and want to know what is open.

I'm staying at a hotel nearby. Can I book for today?

Often, yes. Call the desk or ask your hotel's front desk to call us, and we'll hold a time. Express services and event touch-ups are timed for exactly this.

How far ahead should I book for an event?

Book a trial visit a few weeks ahead for a wedding or a gala, then the day itself as soon as your date is set. Parties of two or more are booked by phone.

Can two of us sit together?

Yes. The Pedicure Pair has two chairs side by side, and the Private Suite seats two at one table. Tell us when you book.

How long does a visit take?

An express service takes about half an hour, a manicure about an hour and a pedicure a little longer. Every line on the menu shows its time.

Where do I park?

The building's garage is behind it, and the desk validates your ticket for the length of your visit.
